Some would say that perseverance is stubbornness with a purpose.  Jefe Rey has persevered from day one in order to solidify his purpose in life; being a Music Maniac!  Born on October 21, 1984 to Alberta Prince & Jeffery Campbell Sr. Jefe inherited his father’s name.  As an infant Jeffery Campbell Jr. began his journey of perseverance that, at the age of 2 years old, would lead him Centralia, IL to live with his father.
Jefe was living early life in his father’s home town and began learning hard lessons in perseverance.  He attended elementary school in a nice neighborhood outside of where he lived at the time.  His first taste of the entertainment world came at the age of 5 years old when he was featured in commercial and a star was born.  But, a young Jefe found himself more influenced by his folks from the neighborhood he lived in.  Jefe seemed to gravitate to the older crowd of kids until moving back to Los Angeles at the age of 7 years old to live with his mother.
